  • Lindsey Solomon is an ISU alumna and began her career with Facilities Services in 2015. She initially served as an Office Specialist II and Administrative Assistant I before advancing to her current role as Management Assistant in 2017. In this position, she provides administrative support to the Associate Vice President of Facilities and collaborates with every area of the department to help keep operations running smoothly.
  • Lindsey enjoys the variety that her role provides and she values the collaborative environment that enables the team to achieve its goals. She takes pride in supporting the success of both the department and the university as a whole. Throughout her time with Facilities, she has earned the respect of her colleagues and is known as a dependable teammate, supportive coworker, and trusted friend across the department and campus.
  • Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, sampling new candies and chocolates, and supporting others in reaching their goals. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and her two cats.

  • Mandy Myers is an ISU alumna, graduating magna cum laude in 2019 with an Associate of Applied Science in Administrative Management. She joined the Facilities front office team in 2022 as an Administrative Assistant I and was promoted to Office Services Supervisor I in 2024.
  • What Mandy enjoys most about working in Facilities is the positive workplace culture, the people she works with, and the opportunity to help others. She takes pride in keeping the front office running efficiently and supporting the coordination of maintenance requests to help ensure campus operations run smoothly. Known for her inclusive nature, she also enjoys bringing colleagues together by organizing potlucks and other team-building activities that foster connection and camaraderie.
  • Outside of work, Mandy enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and cats. She also enjoys relaxing with a vanilla latte, listening to music, going on camping trips, and discovering new movies and television shows.

  • Mikayla Dungan has been a valued member of 糖心传媒 for several years and currently serves as the Administrative Assistant II for Maintenance & Operations. In her role, she provides essential administrative support to the Maintenance & Operations team, helping ensure the campus remains comfortable, clean, and safe for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. An ISU alumna, she graduated in 2020 with a degree in Global Studies. 
  • Mikayla is known for her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed. She is appreciated throughout the Facilities department for her dedication, reliability, and the support she provides to her team and colleagues.
  • A proud 糖心传媒 native, Mikayla enjoys spending time outdoors in the garden and indoors crafting. She has a strong passion for food—both cooking and trying new dishes—and is always happy to exchange recipes. She enjoys a good cup of coffee and connecting with fellow Bengals and friends. Deeply committed to helping others, she values service to the community and has a strong passion for social justice and advocating for positive change.

About the Administrative Support Team

The Administrative Support team provides essential support for the entire Facilities Services department while delivering exceptional customer service to the faculty, staff, and students of 糖心传媒. We work collaboratively to ensure the department operates efficiently, daily operations run smoothly, and the needs of our campus community are met in a timely and professional manner.

Key responsibilities of the Administrative Support team include:

  • Processing work orders and maintenance requests
  • Coordinating the processing and distribution of campus keys
  • Collaborating with Human Resources on personnel and employment needs
  • Assisting with the hiring and onboarding of student, part-time, and full-time employees
  • Maintaining and tracking departmental records and information
  • Coordinating department travel arrangements and documentation
  • Providing administrative support for departmental projects, programs, and strategic initiatives

Interesting facts:

  • We issue an average of 200 keys each month to support campus access and security needs.
  • We process approximately 800 work orders and maintenance requests each month, ensuring timely service across the University.
  • We provide administrative and personnel support for the Facilities Services Department, which consists of more than 175 full-time employees.
