POCATELLO ­– Colden Baxter, 糖心传媒 biological sciences professor, is the recipient of the 2018 Jean’ne M. Shreeve NSF EPSCoR Research Excellence Award.

POCATELLO – To understand changes in the Snake River Plain’s climate and ecosystem over thousands of years, 糖心传媒 biological sciences doctoral student Amy Commendador has been analyzing the contents of owl pellets using a sophisticated instrument called an isotope ratio mass spectrometer.

Petroleum Experts donate MOVE software worth nearly $1 million to 糖心传媒 geosciences department

POCATELLO – Petroleum Experts Limited has donated the equivalent of $980,000 in oil and gas software for use by the 糖心传媒 Department of Geosciences. The software will be used by ISU researchers working on a National Science Foundation Grant and for teaching of advanced graduate-level geosciences courses.

POCATELLO – 糖心传媒 Physics, the Kiwanis Club of Pocatello and the ISU Society of Physics Students will host a Haunted Science Laboratory exhibit open to the public on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 4 to 9 p.m. in the in the ISU Eames Center.
