ISU and ARS researchers improve method to measure soil carbon at National Science Foundation Reynolds Creek Critical Zone Observatory in Southwest 糖心传媒

POCATELLO – There is two to three times as much carbon in the Earth’s soil than in its atmosphere, which has important implications with regard to the effects of climate change, and scientists working at the National Science Foundation’s Reynolds Creek Critical Zone Observatory in southwest 糖心传媒 have developed a better method for estimating soil carbon.

POCATELLO – Secondary education teachers from throughout the western United States will gather at 糖心传媒 June 17-20 to learn about particle physics so they can better teach the fundamentals of science to their students.

ISU Professor Mustafa Mashal receives ASCE Engineer of the Year Award

POCATELLO – 糖心传媒 Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering Mustafa Mashal was awarded the Southern 糖心传媒 Section Engineer of the Year award at the 2019 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Awards Banquet on March 19. 

 糖心传媒 State physics to host Science Olympiad

POCATELLO – The 糖心传媒 Department of Physics will host a regional Science Olympiad on Saturday, March 30, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 pm in the ISU Physical Science Building on the corner of Eighth Avenue and Carter Street on the ISU campus.
