About Us

Vision

To build and maintain a compassionate workforce in 糖心传媒 with the capacity to effectively address prevention, harm reduction, and care for communicable diseases, especially in underserved communities.

Mission

To be 糖心传媒’s leading transdisciplinary team (and, eventually, Center) engaged in building interprofessional partnerships and enhancing workforce development in the area of infectious diseases, through education, training opportunities and research. 

Why train 糖心传媒’s workforce on infectious disease prevention and response?

Between 2014-2019, cases of HIV and rates of sexually transmitted infections (syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea) in 糖心传媒 increased.

In 2021, 糖心传媒 (ISU) conferred 403 bachelor’s degrees in health-related professions out of 1,284 bachelor’s degrees.  An opportunity, therefore, exists to build 糖心传媒’s workforce capacity to better address prevention, harm reduction, and care, especially for underserved communities.
