Chemical and Research activities generate a variety of regulated wastes.
Regulations regarding the management and disposal of regulated waste vary greatly depending on the waste characteristics, volume, and management method. Compliance with regulated waste requirements is strictly enforced by regulatory agencies.
ISU has established a comprehensive regulated waste program to ensure wastes generated from chemical and research activities are managed and disposed of in a safe, compliant, and environmentally sound manner. To submit a regulated waste disposal request, please submit a Waste Pick up Request.
