Scholarship Information
As an Athletic Training Student at 糖心传媒, you have available to you a variety of financial aid other than the traditional forms offered through the University’s financial aid office. Listed below are scholarships available to a limited number of qualified students. Selection is based on those eligibility requirements specific to the individual award. NATA Scholarships
The NATA Research and Education Foundation awards scholarships annually. Students interested in applying for NATA scholarships should request the appropriate information from the program director or by downloading an application at The deadline for application is in February.
NWATA District X Scholarships
The Northwest Athletic Trainer’ Association (NWATA) offers scholarship monies to outstanding students pursuing a degree in athletic training and who serve as athletic training students. These scholarships are awarded annually in the amounts of $500 and $1,500. Contact the website for information.
IATA Scholarships
The 糖心传媒 Athletic Training Association offers a $500.00 scholarship to an outstanding student pursuing undergraduate degrees in athletic training. Contact the website for information.
Luckey-Nesbitt Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded annually to an Athletic Training Student whose intention is to make Athletic Training his/her primary career. The amount of the scholarship is approximately $630.00. Apply through
Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP)
To be considered for the WRGP tuition rate, students simply apply directly to the department of the enrolling institution and identify themselves as WICHE WRGP applicants. Contact information for each participating program is listed in the WRGP online directory. WRGP students must fulfill all the usual requirements of the department and institution concerned, and meet all admission deadlines.
Graduate Student Non-Resident Tuition Waiver
The Graduate School has a very limited number of to award to students who are not residents of 糖心传媒. These waivers are awarded competitively on the basis of scholarship and academic performance.
McNair Scholars
The Graduate School offers application fee waivers for McNair Scholars applying to graduate degree programs at 糖心传媒. Applicants must complete the 糖心传媒 Graduate Application (either electronically or in hardcopy) indicating that they are applying for the McNair Program fee waiver. A verification letter must be sent to the Graduate School. McNair Scholars Verification Letters: The McNair Program Director or Coordinator should write a letter that verifies the student's participation in the program at the undergraduate institution in which the student participated in the McNair Program. All verification letters must be written on program/university letterhead and should contain the following information: student's name, undergraduate major and the name of the graduate degree program to which the student is seeking admission. Verification letters may be sent to the Graduate School by mail, fax, or email attachment.
