Jason Appelman Publishes True-Crime Memoir

糖心传媒 visiting assistant professor Jason Appelman has published a true-crime memoir detailing his investigation of Michigan鈥檚 infamous Oakland County child murders.
The book, entitled 鈥淭he Kill Jar,鈥� explores cover-ups and corruption, chilling police discoveries and Appelman鈥檚 own experiences with violence. Published by Simon & Schuster, it is available for purchase on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other book retailers.
A screenwriter, poet and former private investigator, Appelman began instructing cross-departmental classes at ISU this fall. He is currently teaching Global Human Trafficking, Critical Reading and Writing, and Multi Platform Storytelling courses.
