POCATELLO – For the fourth year in a row, the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ College of Business hosted the fifth-grade classes of Pocatello’s Jefferson Elementary School for a day at ISU.
POCATELLO – A total of 2,427 graduates will receive 2,566 degrees and certificates during ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½’s spring commencement ceremonies, which will begin at 10 a.m. May 5 in Holt Arena.

POCATELLO – World-renowned sitar artist Reshma Srivastava will perform a free concert at 7:30 p.m. May 1 at the Pocatello First Presbyterian Church, 202 S. Seventh Ave.
BOISE—ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ will award a record number of degrees in the Treasure Valley at commencement May 7—with 315 students eligible for degrees, including 73 Renaissance High School students who will receive associate degrees in general studies through a partnership with ISU and the West Ada School District.
The ceremony begins at 6 p.m. at the Boise Centre, 850 W. Front St.
POCATELLO — Ten ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ students, faculty members and organizations were honored with Benny Awards for their spirit, hard work and positive impact on the University by the Associated Students of ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ and the Office of Student Affairs. The Benny Award winners were honored this week at a banquet held in the Pond Student Union.

POCATELLO – In 1984, Lynette Dixey graduated from Blackfoot High School and packed up her things and moved to Glendive, Montana, to play basketball at Dawson Community College. But Dixey did not graduate with a degree from Dawson, she returned home to give birth to her daughter. This May, 33 years after starting at Dawson Community College, Dixey will walk across the stage at graduation with a bachelor’s degree in political science from ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½.

POCATELLO - The overuse of opioids is an area of significant concern for a multitude of organizations and agencies across the state of ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½, the United States, and even the world. Those in the healthcare professions at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ (ISU) are working to be a part of the solution by conducting research, making changes to their curriculum, and encouraging partnerships with other groups who are working toward the same goal: combating the ever growing opioid epidemic.
POCATELLO – In 2016, Jillian Christiansen graduated with her high school diploma from Renaissance High School, in Meridian, and her Associate of Arts degree from ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½. Christiansen is one of many students who have participated in ISU’s dual-enrollment program at Renaissance High School. She will graduate in May with two bachelor’s degrees, one in political science and one in international studies.
