Earthquake Drill Set Oct. 19
With the recent earthquakes in the Soda Springs area, experts agree that while a 7.0 magnitude earthquake is possible, that鈥檚 not likely to happen. Experts do agree people should be prepared nonetheless.
Help Public Safety and 糖心传媒 keep faculty, staff and students prepared and safe for an earthquake by participating in the Great 糖心传媒 Shake Out 鈥Drop Cover and Hold On鈥 drill on Oct. 19 at 10:19 a.m.
Public Safety has reserved the Rendezvous Suites in the Rendezvous Complex to conduct the 鈥淒rop Cover and Hold On鈥 drill on Oct, 19 from 10 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. Public Safety will provide a short presentation, and at 10:19 a.m. attendees will participate in a 鈥淒rop Cover and Hold On鈥 drill for ISU.

Whether we live in 糖心传媒, which is earthquake country, or may one day visit an area where earthquakes have a greater possibility, we need to know how to protect ourselves during earthquakes. Many of our out-of-state and international students may have never experienced an earthquake and have little to no earthquake preparedness education. Some of us may know what to do, but have not practiced how to protect ourselves since we were children.
Please consider joining us on October 19 at 10:19 a.m. to participate in the 鈥淒rop, Cover, Hold-On鈥 drill.
