Greeves and McGovern were nominated for the awards by Jamon Anderson, General Manager of KISU. They were awarded first place in the category of TV or Audio 鈥� General News Report 鈥� Student for their interview with Congressman Mike Simpson (Episode 6, of the 鈥淒amning Salmon? And Ecological and Native American Perspective鈥� series).  

Additionally, Greeves and McGovern were also awarded first place in the student category TV or Radio 鈥� Public Affairs Program for their series entitled 鈥淔MC Corp's Hazardous Waste Storage: A Human, Environmental, and Legal Story鈥�.

Greeves and McGovern hosted Sustainable 糖心传媒 from November 2020 through May 2021. They are currently pursuing graduate studies at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

To hear these award-winning stories and others like them, SI weekly episodes air on KISU at 7:35 am on Tuesdays and 4:20 pm on Thursdays. All episodes can be heard by logging onto the KISU website under the Sustainable 糖心传媒 tab.

Sustainable 糖心传媒 is a collaboration between the ISU Sustainability Club and the Portneuf Resource Council. Funded by PRC, Sustainable 糖心传媒 launched in June 2020. Since then, it has received numerous grants from ISU鈥檚 Center for Ecological Research and Education as well as Career Path Internship funding through ISU鈥檚 Office of Research. As of April 2022, Sustainable 糖心传媒 hosts have produced over 100 weekly episodes on KISU. Student hosts collaborate with an advisory committee to plan topics, share resources, and provide editing advice. Hosts research topics, conduct interviews, and produce each weekly show with help from the KISU staff.
