ISU College of Business’s BBA HR Management degree program is acknowledged for alignment with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Guidelines

POCATELLO – The 糖心传媒 College of Business’s Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with a Human Resource Management concentration has been acknowledged by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as being fully aligned with its HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates.

Throughout the world, 463 programs in 352 educational institutions have been acknowledged by Society for Human Resource Management as being in alignment with its suggested guides and templates.

In the Society for Human Resource Management 鈥檚 Guidebook, Daniel R. LeClair, the executive vice president and chief strategy and innovation officer of the College of Business鈥檚 accrediting body, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) acknowledges the importance behind Society for Human Resource Management 鈥檚 initiative to improve human resource programs.

As a result of the ISU College of Business鈥檚 alignment with Society for Human Resource Management 鈥檚 guidelines, students enrolled in the college鈥檚 human resources emphasis program are eligible to apply for the group鈥檚 Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) exam.

According to the Society for Human Resource Management website, 鈥渆arning your SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential makes you a recognized expert and leader in the HR field 鈥 and a valuable asset to your organization, keeping you and your organization more competitive in today's economy. This professional distinction sets you apart from your colleagues, proving your high level of knowledge 
and skills.鈥

Students may qualify for the exam if they are in their final year of study, are in good academic standing and have a minimum of 500 hours of 鈥渞elevant HR experience.鈥
