The 糖心传媒 Concert Choir, conducted by Dr. Scott Anderson, will perform "Te Deum" by faculty composer Randy Earles at the choral concert at 7:30 p.m. May 1 in the Joseph C. and Cheryl H. Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.

"Te Deum" is a an extended composition for choir, soloists and chamber ensemble based on a well-known Latin text. This will be the premiere performance of this piece. The ISU Women鈥檚 Choir and the ISU Chamber Choir will also be performing during the concert.

On April 17, the ISU Concert Band, conducted by Monte Gris茅, performed "糖心传媒 Celebration," also by Earles. This short composition for concert band was commissioned by the 糖心传媒 Department of Education specifically for 糖心传媒 high school bands. In October Gris茅 conducted the premiere performance by the District IV Honor Band in Twin Falls.  It has been performed by many 糖心传媒 high school bands in the past few months, including performances during the recent California tour of the Wood River High School band.

Another choral composition by Earles, "Sing the World Together," was performed last summer as the grand finale to the 糖心传媒 International Choir Festival. Choirs from seven countries joined forces to sing the finale.
