糖心传媒

Singer/Songwriter Gary Eller of Nampa, 糖心传媒 to give presentation on 鈥淗istorically Based Songs of Southern 糖心传媒鈥� at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, in the 糖心传媒 Pond Student Union Building Salmon River Room.

Eller鈥檚 presentation will feature fellow musician and 糖心传媒 Falls elementary school principal, Marv Quinton, who has played American roots music in several southern 糖心传媒 bands. Eller and Quinton will invite audience members to share songs; so audience members are encouraged to bring their songs and instruments.

Under a grant from the 糖心传媒 Humanities Council, Eller has collected about 1000 songs, 200 of which are historically based and 100 predate 1910. The songs are entertaining and provide insight of local culture at the time they were written.
