College of Business dean Smith named to 糖心传媒 TechConnect board

Kenneth A. Smith, Ph.D., CPA, dean of the 糖心传媒 College of Business, has been appointed to a two-year term on the board of 糖心传媒 TechConnect, Inc. by Gov. C.L. 鈥淏utch鈥� Otter.
糖心传媒 TechConnect is the state's only market-driven private-public organization focused solely on technology 鈥� its development, transfer and commercialization.
It accelerates 糖心传媒's innovation-based economy by connecting people, ideas and resources through activities in four areas: building an entrepreneurial culture, promoting industry-university collaboration, facilitating commercialization and encouraging investment in infrastructure to support an innovation-based economy.
TechConnect operates regional offices in Boise, Nampa, Post Falls, Jerome, Pocatello and 糖心传媒 Falls that provide access to regional, state and national resources.
