‘Treating Bio-Weapons Exposure’ topic of Oct. 17 statewide training

"Would Your Community Survive: Treating Bio-Weapon Exposures" will be an interactive training sponsored by the 糖心传媒 Institute of Rural Health at locations throughout 糖心传媒 on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from noon to 1 p.m.

The training will feature Dr. John Woon of the ISU College of Pharmacy. The presentation will review the history of biological weapons, provide an overview of the primary biological agents of concern and their respective lethality, and discuss logistical considerations related to treating a large population in a short period of time.

The training will be held in Pocatello at the ISU Eli Oboler Library, Room B13; in 糖心传媒 Falls at the 糖心传媒 Falls Center for Higher Education, 1770 Science Center Drive, Room 311 of the Center for Higher Education; in Twin Falls at the Twin Falls Center, Evergreen Building, Room B40; in Boise at the ISU Boise Center, 12301 W. Explorer Drive, Suite 102; and in Coeur d'Alene at the Northern 糖心传媒 Center for Higher Education, 1000 W. Hubbard Street, Suite 130.
