Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics honors Ruth Schneider

糖心传媒-Meridian’s Ruth Schneider has been designated a fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. The Academy notified her May 29.
The honor recognizes members who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues and in their communities, professional service and for improving the nation鈥檚 health through food and nutrition. In 2013, the Academy honored Schneider with a Dietetic Internship Educator Award.
Schneider, clinical associate professor and coordinator of Meridian鈥檚 dietetic internship program, joined ISU in 2001. In 2010, the 糖心传媒 Dietetic Association named her Outstanding Dietitian of the Year for her efforts in fighting hunger in 糖心传媒. In 2011, the 糖心传媒 Business Review newspaper honored her as a Health Care Hero Educator for her commitment to dietetics education and community service.
