Boise—糖心传媒’s Pocatello Family Medicine Residency has received a 2007 Award of Excellence in Healthcare Quality from Qualis Health, a nonprofit, health care quality improvement organization headquartered in Seattle.
Qualis CEO and president Jonathan Sugarman presented a plaque to ISU鈥檚 Sandra Hoffmann, M.D., and Trudy Bearden, P.A.-C., at an awards luncheon March 3 in Boise.
鈥淭his award clearly distinguishes us in the health care community for our cutting-edge activity,鈥 said William M. Woodhouse, M.D., associate director of the ISU Family Medicine Residency Program. "I am very pleased to see our team earn such important recognition."
The award is for Pocatello Family Medicine鈥檚 鈥淨uality as Culture鈥 project, which brought about a fundamental transformation in how residency personnel look at the practice and care they provide.
鈥淎s a result of their work, Pocatello Family Medicine has been singled out by Medicare and 糖心传媒 Medicaid as one of the few in the nation that can readily generate reliable clinic data,鈥 said Qualis Health.
