ISU Day at the Capitol, Jan. 26
Boise – 糖心传媒 will present “ISU Day at the Capitol” from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26. More than 30 displays and interactive programs will feature the University’s colleges, departments and programs.
The displays are set up around the fourth floor rotunda for legislators to visit between sessions. The displays are open to the public.
鈥淭his event showcases the programs and achievements at 糖心传媒,鈥� said Graham Garner, ISU Alumni Relations director. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a great opportunity to see the exhibits, meet the faculty, staff and students of ISU and learn how the University is serving the entire state.鈥�
This is the ninth year of the Capitol Day program, in which all four of 糖心传媒鈥檚 four-year public institutions bring displays to the Statehouse to celebrate Higher Education Week, the week when the Legislature鈥檚 Joint Finance Appropriations Committee holds hearings on higher education funding.
The day will conclude with a reception at 5 p.m. in the lobby of the Grove Hotel Grand Foyer, 245 South Capitol Blvd. All legislators, alumni and friends of ISU are invited and asked to contact the Alumni Office at 800-933-4781 or alumni@isu.edu if they plan to attend.
