If you wish to initiate services, please call us (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm) for appointment information and availability. We will guide you through the process of completing initial paperwork and obtaining an appointment for a secure and confidential meeting with a mental health provider.

Career counselors are available to assist you individually with your career exploration. We utilize a number of resources to guide you through this process. Our professional career counselors are licensed professional counselors (LPC) with master’s degrees in counseling. We also utilize interns in the Master of Counseling program who are supervised by our counselors.
Confidentiality is very important in our counseling and your information will not be shared with anyone without your prior consent. Schedule an appointment with one of our career counselors.

If you are experiencing an imminent mental health emergency, please call ISU Public Safety at (208) 282-2515 or 911 for immediate assistance.
If you are a student in need or assisting a student in need, contact our office at (208) 282-7750 or come to our office during business hours and ask to speak with a counselor. We are also happy to assist faculty and staff in getting connected to the EAP or finding a counselor in the community. We are available for consultations from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday during the regular school year and from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday in the summer.
If you are a faculty or staff member and would like to report a concern or issue regarding a student, please complete . An Office of the Dean of Students staff member will contact you to discuss resources based on your report.
