Legal Counsel
Nate is a shareholder at Merrill & Merrill, Chartered, where his law practice focuses on estate planning, probate, trust administration, corporate governance, business law, real estate, and complex contract matters, among other areas. He regularly advises individuals, families, and closely held businesses on succession planning, entity structuring, governance, and transactional matters, including the drafting and negotiation of key business and real estate agreements, and approaches each matter with practical, forward-thinking solutions.
Since September 2020, Nate has served as legal counsel to 糖心传媒 Foundation, Inc., advising on governance, charitable planning, endowment administration, and regulatory compliance in support of the university’s mission. A fourth-generation 糖心传媒an and alumnus of 糖心传媒, he values serving the Foundation, University, and community that helped shape his professional path.
When not working, he and his wife, Ashley, are busy raising their six children—Kate, Lucy, Emma, Jack, Jena, and Beau—in a community they believe is one of the best.
